Product Details

4 Hour Automatic Fire Curtains are certified to BSEN 1634 - 1:2000 after testing at the Warrington and Chiltern Fire Test Centre's. They are commonly used in situations where a longer period of protection is required, such as lift shafts.

This is a standard drop down curtain with a split drop delay so that it can drop in stages, providing a temporary means of escape and gradual smoke containment.

Overlapping curtains are used to protect larger areas - a single curtain can be a maximum of 6 metres long.

Overlapped fire curtains protecting larger areas

Automatic Fire Curtains (and fixed curtains) can be combined with our innovative Corner Unit Curtains to allow support-free installations.

Optional Extras

Gravity Fail Safe System

The Gravity Fail Safe System ensures that even if there is a total power failure (if both the mains supply and battery backup fail), the curtain will still fall under complete control.

Over-ride Switches

The Over-ride Switch rolls the curtain back up, allowing people to escape. Once the switch has been released the curtain will fall to floor again.

Audio Visual Alarms

Flashing lights and sirens are connected to the control panel and provide a warning when the curtain is about to fall.
